Retreats include training, exercises or counseling sessions given by experts that allow you to see your own deficiencies and help you improve your spiritual, mental and physical well-being. Retreats are held in silence. They are led and preached by priests or lay people. During the three daily lectures, the preacher covers the foundations of the Christian faith.
Between these teaching periods, times of personal and community prayer are organized. Everyone has free time to rest and refresh themselves internally. Every person is free to experience the celebration of the Eucharist with the members of the Foyer. A priest or community member trained to provide personalized support and spiritual guidance is also available to serve those who request it.
A wellness retreat offers a unique combination of relaxation and education. You'll learn to better understand healthy living while living a healthy and satisfying lifestyle during the retreat. You have the opportunity to learn with classes on healthy topics such as meditation, yoga, nutrition or cooking, as well as healing, with therapeutic and relaxing treatments, such as massages and Ayurvedic treatments, among others. Wellness retreats are designed to make you feel better than when you started, not exhausted like many traditional vacations usually do.
Christian retreat participants should be eager to leave the retreat feeling rested but focused on their walk with Christ. They will leave with great memories and new relationships.
